Beginning in FPOS v5.0.96.20, users can designate employees as salary (instead of hourly), as well as allow employees included in "salary" classes to be "clock in exempt." Designating salary employees as "clock in exempt" requires the user to configure several settings within the Back Office, and will allow the user to sign on without first clocking in to the Front End.
Users will need to set Pay Type to Salary for any classes that should be considered salary. This will enable Clock In Exempt settings in Employee Maintenance for the selected classes.

Users can select Clock In/Out Exempt options when configuring buttons in the Back Office.
The Include Clock In Exempt Employees option has been added to the following buttons, allowing Clock In Exempt employees to be displayed in various employee list boxes on the Front End.
The Clock In Exempt Employees Can Seat Guests option has been added to the Customer Reservations button to allow Clock In Exempt employees to seat guests who have reservations.
